AVAing means -- Amateur Voice Acting.
I am presenting to you a few simple respective rules and reasons when you decide to jump into the world of AVAing. This won't be very long-- I promise.

Ok, so you bumped into the VAA or Flava or this site or whatever, and you think -- "hey! I could do this!" So you click on an auditions post/page and jump at the chance. Please keep these thoughts in mind when you do this:

* Read the producer's instructions ALL THE WAY THROUGH. Don't just look for an audition line, record it, and send it to the person. If he/she is anything like me, they will happily reject it and send you a very nice flattering email.

* If you DO NOT have time in your life to be committed to a project then DO NOT AUDITION!!!! We producers understand if something unexpected happens like you get grounded, you lose your job, get sick, computer blows up, or what have you, but if you promised to be committed to something, please do your best to contact the producer. Heck, we have lives too.

* Please don't annoy us with emails such as "Have you finished casting yet?!". More than likely you will NOT get casted.

* IMPORTANT: Keep in at the very least constant contact. THis means a current email address or even two emails ~ one for an emergency because we all know how unreliable the internet can be at times.

* Last but not least, have fun. It's a hobby. Not a job.
